ACC is holding an emergency meeting to finalize the Asia Cup schedule.

The Asia Cup schedule has already been finalized.  However, the full schedule is yet to be announced.  The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) is holding an emergency meeting in Dubai on Sunday and Monday to finalize the schedule.

The top officials of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the main host of the Asia Cup, are now at the ICC meeting in Durban.  They will attend the ACC meeting after returning from there.

ACC President Jai Shah and officials of member countries will attend the meeting.  Along with the Asia Cup schedule, important decisions will be made regarding television rights and logistical arrangements for the tournament.

Earlier, the entire Asia Cup tournament was supposed to be held in Pakistan.  However, over India's objection, Pakistan offered to host the Asia Cup in a hybrid model.  ACCO accepted this proposal.

 As a result, apart from Pakistan, Sri Lanka will be the co-host.  The first four matches of the group stage will be played in Pakistan.  And the remaining matches will be in Sri Lanka.  The much awaited match between India and Pakistan will be played in Dambulla.

 Pakistan's match against Nepal could be in Lahore.  Apart from this, Afghanistan vs Bangladesh, Bangladesh vs Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan matches can be held in Pakistan.
